# Data sources and verification
Prospect records may combine customer instructions, public business information, licensed data, and service-provider results.
## What verification does and does not mean
A verification result reflects the check performed at a point in time. It does not guarantee that a person still holds the same role, that every field is complete, or that outreach is lawful or wanted.
## Review checklist
- Confirm the company is still active and fits the profile.
- Confirm the person, role, and company relationship.
- Inspect the fit explanation and supporting context.
- Check contact data, suppression lists, and applicable outreach rules.
- Report corrections with the record ID and the field that is wrong.
