Create your first target profile
Build the brief Leama uses to source and qualify companies and contacts.
When to use this
Create a profile for each market, offer, or ideal-customer definition that needs separate targeting and run history.
Requirements and availability
- Profile name is required and accepts at most 80 characters.
- Describe target persona requires at least 10 characters.
- Country or market, Industry or niche, Your offer, Company size, and Buying signals are required.
- Exclusions are optional and limited to two.
- Your plan controls how many profiles can be active.
How to do it
- Open Profiles.
- Select New profile.
- Choose Start with a domain for a website draft or Start manually.
- Complete and review every required field.
- Choose Effort and any available Extra requirements.
- Select Save profile.
Fields and controls

| Extra requirements | Plan-gated pass-or-fail requirements. |
What happens next
The profile appears on Profiles and becomes selectable by Agent workers, runs, analytics filters, and delivery workflows.
States you may see
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Default | The protected default profile cannot be deleted. |
| Saving | Leama is waiting for persistence confirmation. |
| Validation error | The profile was not saved; resolve the inline message. |
| Profile limit reached | Create and duplicate remain unavailable until capacity is freed or added. |
Credits and usage
Creating and editing do not spend credits. The saved Effort and Extra requirements affect later runs.
Common problems

| Save profile is blocked | Complete required fields and resolve inline validation. |
| The website draft is incomplete | In the signed-in profile editor, continue with the full manual fields. The public homepage flow can first offer one free-text description; add the required profile details after sign-in. |
| A profile cannot be created | Check the profile limit shown by the current plan. |
