Create and manage Outreach campaigns
Create a campaign, connect its prospect source and sending accounts, then launch only after blockers are resolved.
When to use this
Use Campaigns when qualified prospects should enter a controlled email sequence from connected sending accounts.
Requirements and availability
- Grow permits 2 Outreach campaign slots and Scale permits 10, but both also require the separate $99/month Outreach subscription to create or send live campaigns.
- A sequence, prospect source, and live sending account are required before launch.
- Launch checks name missing setup rather than silently sending.
How to do it
- Open Campaigns.
- Select New campaign, enter a name, and create it.
- Add or draft the sequence and review every variable and message.
- Choose feeding workers, sending accounts, minimum score, verified-email rule, stop rules, and sending schedule.
- Select Launch and resolve any blocker.
- Use Pause campaign to stop new sends while keeping settings and history.
Fields and controls
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Launch | Checks prerequisites and activates the campaign when they pass. |
| Pause campaign | Stops new campaign sends. |
| Resume campaign | Continues a paused campaign. |
| Minimum qualification score | Limits enrollment to prospects meeting the chosen score. |
| Only send to verified emails | Applies the campaign verification rule. |
| Stop rules | Controls when later or same-company sends stop. |
| Delete campaign | Permanently removes the campaign after confirmation. |
What happens next
An Active campaign enrolls eligible prospects from selected sources and sends only within its account, rule, and schedule settings.
States you may see
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not sending. |
| Active | Eligible sending can continue. |
| Paused | No new sends until resumed. |
| Launch blocked | A named prerequisite must be fixed. |
Credits and usage
Campaign creation does not use prospecting credits. The separate $99/month Outreach subscription is required for campaign and Inbox access; domain and inbox charges can be additional. Runs feeding the campaign use their own prospecting credits.
Common problems
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Launch is blocked | Use the blocker's fix action; common needs are a worker, sequence, sending account, or valid schedule. |
| A prospect was not enrolled | Check score, worker, verified-email rule, suppression, stop rules, and schedule. |
